October is FUNtastic!!!!!

Good morning Saltonstall Families,

I hope that you have been having a great October so far! We have been super busy preparing many good things to share with you.
Here are a some events that will be happening during the next couple of weeks:

Tomorrow Oct 12th, we will have our HAPIIPA Heritage Celebration for our students here at school. It is a nice tradition and it has been a great opportunity to learn about Latino culture but know we are expanding to include and honor some of other cultures presents in our community as well. We will continue doing these trough other events during school year. More on that Soon!

On Thursday, Oct 13th, We will have our School Family Meeting and it will be on ZOOM from 5:30 to 6:30. We will send the link and  more information soon.

Next week on Oct 20th, our Latino Family Group will meet again for our Game Night! Let’s talk and have fun together. You can bring some food to share and your own game if you want. We can play Dominoes, Chess, Checkers, and other board games.

Also, We have Exciting news for 7th and 8th Graders!!! WE’RE GOING TO NATURE’S CLASSROOM!!!!!!! from Oct 24th to Oct 28th. 175 acres of woodlands and estuary, Rachel Carson Wildlife Refugee and 7 miles long beach. Electronic free week!! Sign-up slips & deposit forms have been sent home. Scholarships are available. We want that all students are able to attend so secure your spot or reach out  to 7/8 Team or me ASAP.

Finally for this month we will have our FUNtastic Trunk or Treat on Oct 26th!!!!  CORRECTION: The event will be from 5:30 to 6:30pm, I apologized for the error on the flyer. PARTICIPANT TRUNKS MUST COME BETWEEN 5:00pm and  5:20pm. Sign up for Trunk or to Donate candies using these link:
