Posted on: October 5, 2021

Dear Families, we are in October! This month is full of celebrations and activities. Here I am sharing some of them with you.  First, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We encourage everyone to go and do a preventative health check. Then, We want to send affectionate greetings to our Italian American Community in the occasion of their Heritage Month.

On Oct 7th will be the Haunting Happenings Grand Parade. This year theme is “upside down and inside out! it will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm. Come and see the School Float!

Next week, Oct 11th is a holiday in the United States and many countries of America. That day we celebrate the Hispanic Heritage, but It’s also celebrating the Indigenous People Day and many communities celebrate their Portuguese Heritage as well.  Here is a video about the Taino culture, Indigenous People of Puerto rico, Dominican Republic and other Islands of the Caribbean Sea.
