VIEW GALLERY | Carlton-Saltonstall Pottery Night Draws 300 Students, Families and Staff

The coming together of the Carlton Innovation School and Saltonstall School — which are merging form the Sarah Parker Remond School in 2026-27 — is well under way. Families of both schools gathered Wednesday, Apr. 29 for the first of two Staff and Family Pottery Nights at the Saltonstall School Auditorium.

Creativity was abound as the event, facilitated by Saltonstall art educator Mary Tuttle, drew roughly 300 staff members, students and their families of both schools. Pottery Night is one of several events scheduled over the remaining weeks of school and summer.

Staff and families will reunite for the second Pottery Night Wednesday, May 20, followed by a joint field day Friday, May 29; joint barbecue Tuesday, June 16, a staff retreat Monday, Aug. 17.
