Hello Saltonstall Families,

I hope you are doing well. If you believe in the ground hog, he did not see his shadow! This means there will be an early spring – I hope so! 

Valentine’s Glow Dance (K-4):

Get ready for our annual K-4 Valentine’s Glow Dance! Friday, February 9th from 6-7:30. Many hands and items are needed to make this event special and run smoothly! Put on your dancing shoes and dress your best or in white to really GLOW!! (This is not a dropoff event, parent/guardian must accompany student/s)

Kindergarten Registration:

Do you have an incoming kindergartner or know someone that does? Well, make sure you come or have them come to the “Meet and Greet” for new families on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:30 at Collins Middle School.

Spirit Week:

Next week we will be having spirit week. Let’s show some school spirit. I hope you can all join in the fun!

Monday – Sports Day – Please wear your favorite sports gear (no cleats!)

Tuesday – Hat Day – Let’s find some funny hats

Wednesday – Red or Pink Day – Let’s get festive for Valentine’s Day

Thursday – Tie Dye or Colorful Clothes Day – Be as bright as you can!

Friday – Saltonstall Gear or colors Day – Let’s show your school colors.

Next month we have another surprise for you – Look for March Madness details coming soon!

All-City Beginner Concert:

Our 4th graders will be performing with all 4th graders on February 13th at Salem High School in the auditorium at 7:00pm. You should receive information from the instrumental teachers. 

MCAS Dates:

Here are the MCAS dates. Please do not schedule appointments or travel during MCAS time. All students in grades 3-8 take both math and English language arts (ELA). In addition, our 5th graders take science and our 8th graders take science and social studies.
